No Particular Magic to this.
Just Remote Desktop and Remote App Publishing on windows Server 2012R2.
I have been supporting hundreds of users for a dozen or so companies on my servers for the past 2-3 years. Apps instantiate and run much faster than they do on Win7 and run from nearly everything (Mac, Windows, Android, tablets with no conversion required). I guess this is just new Server architecture that makes it so fast. There is also very little communication between the clients and the server - so it works well in environments where bandwidth is limited. I frequently demo using my cell phone hotspot.
We are deploying 64 bit versions now with PB 12.6 Classic and it's even noticeably faster.
I guess this would work this way with any windows app, .Net or not... Remote App was rewritten entirely in Win Server 2012R2 and designed to keep apps in memory.
