Select on PROJ failing when queried through RFC

Hi Gurus,

I have a situation where the select query on PROJ is failing when queried through RFC.

I made a  ZFM_PROJ , in which a select is done on PROJ. This select works  fine when I run this  in SE37.

However when the ZFM_PROJ is called by the middleware TIBCO, the select query fails.I understand that the conversion exit has a role ot play in here.

so I made the code as below.
